Book Ms. Bitch: Finding happiness is the best revenge. Review :

This story takes you down and dirty with all of the ugly women have to go through and feel as we navigate bad breakups and ugly family drama and then soars to the highest peak of finding our inner goddess and a strength society try’s to keep us from finding. No more “be a good girl, don’t make waves” for Tess as she rolls through all of the stages of grief following an ugly divorce. Brutally honest in her raw emotion, insecurities and grief at how she is expected to act and feel comes crashing down on her from all angles. But even better, as she heals and moves on and finds the strength she was always afraid to find we, the reader, get to experience all of the happy feels, all of the inner strength and empowerment all people deserve to find to find their best self.Bravo Miss O’Malley for taking a word that can be somewhat controversial To some, and redefining it for us all...a verb, a noun, and adjective, derogatory and congratulatory all in one book.I am off to re-read this book and take some lessons and the very strong message of find your strongest self and become the best you that you can be!
I have to start by saying that I normally do not write reviews. Not that I don’t want to support my favorite authors, I just don’t have a lot of extra time, and honestly, why would anyone be interested in my opinion. But the fact that I’m here writing says something about this book. I almost didn’t read this one, because I like my reading light, with a healthy dash of humor. Much like O’Malley’s Tequila series, which is how introduced to her books. I also don’t buy many books, preferring to borrow from Kindle Unlimited. Tricia O’Malley’s books are worth every penny, and I do not regret the $10 spent on this one. TM manages to share her story about heartbreak without turning the tale into a maudlin tear jerker. She had me detesting the horrible husband, wanting to smack the controlling sister, and hug her heroine. I was rooting for Tess to come out on top from page 1, and couldn’t have been happier when she did. Loved this book, which proved what I’ve known since I read the first Althea Rose book - Tricia O’Malley is one helluva writer.
